1. Service scope
WebEXE is an HTML to EXE Converter for static web projects. Upload HTML, select a project folder or enter HTML, set the app title and window size, and generate a Windows app download. Supported features and file limits are described on the builder page and in the FAQs. You must provide any online services or other backend features required by your page.
2. Using the service
Before submitting a creation request, read these terms, the privacy policy and disclaimer. If you disagree, stop submitting files and using the creation service. Obtain authorization before acting for another person or organization.
3. Uploaded content and permissions
You retain your existing rights to uploaded content and must have permission to use, upload and distribute its code, images, fonts, text and other resources. To fulfill your request, you authorize WebEXE to process the content as needed and generate, store and provide downloads; ownership does not transfer. Do not upload unauthorized personal information, passwords, keys or other unsuitable content. Keep your own backup of the original project.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not create or distribute malware, phishing pages, fraudulent content, information-stealing programs or apps that violate others’ rights.
- Do not impersonate others or use the WebEXE name to imply unconfirmed partnership, review or endorsement.
- Do not attack the website, bypass limits, send abusive bulk requests or otherwise disrupt the service.
5. App testing and distribution
Successful creation means a download is available, not that the content has passed functional, security or compliance review. Test pages, resources, interactions and online features on the target Windows computer before use or distribution, and give users the necessary instructions and support. After changing web files, create and distribute a new version; downloaded apps are not automatically replaced.
6. Availability and external resources
Creation and downloads may be temporarily unavailable due to network issues, maintenance, compatibility or other causes. Pages may behave differently across computers. Providers determine the availability and terms of external links, online images, fonts, APIs and other third-party services. Offline use requires all resources to be included and no online features to be needed. Download and save results promptly; download links are not long-term backups.
7. Service changes and misuse
WebEXE may adjust features, limits or service arrangements for operation and maintenance and update these terms. Important changes affecting use will be announced on the website. Violations or actions affecting safety or normal operation may lead to necessary measures such as request limits or suspended creation or downloads. Review the current terms and page instructions before using the service again.
8. Responsibility limits
Assess results for your intended use and do not put untested apps directly into critical operations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, WebEXE makes no guarantees about uploaded content, third-party resources or factors beyond its reasonable control. Responsibility depends on the cause and applicable law. These terms do not exclude legally non-excludable liability or affect your statutory rights.
